Design and manufacture of custom UT probes for automated systems or manual use

IMG special probes are designed for situations where a “standard” probe is not sufficient: unique geometries, space constraints, automation, complex materials or highly specific inspection procedures. With over thirty years of experience in ultrasonic non-destructive testing, IMG is able to design and manufacture custom probes from scratch, both for automated systems and for manual use, tailored to the specific requirements of each application.

These are UT probes developed specifically for:

  • integration into automated systems (mechanized, water-film, immersion, etc.)

  • Angled probe for automatic inspection of railway wheels
