Custom-designed test blocks for UT/PAUT/TOFD calibration, custom-made with specific artificial defects

We manufacture and supply custom-designed calibration blocks tailored to customer specifications, based on the type of inspection to be performed, the component’s geometry and the type of indications or defects to be reproduced.

Blocks can be manufactured in accordance with the provided drawings and technical specifications, using various production technologies to ensure reliable and repeatable calibration standards.

Examples of use:

  • TOFD sample block with butt weld
  • Creation of subsurface defects with closure via TIG weld before final welding
  • Sample tube processing for PAUT and TOFD inspection calibration
  • Creation of surface and subsurface grooves (e.g., 2×0.5×30 mm) on small-scale geometries
  • Creation of surface notches on superduplex welds (e.g., 5×2×0.2 mm)

We can supply calibration blocks manufactured according to the customer’s specifications and defect types.
