MAUS XX (Automatic Multichannel Ultrasonic System) is the new generation of multichannel equipment for automatic ultrasonic inspection systems. Performance, modularity, flexibility, fitness for service and customization are its key features: in either smart-multiplex or full-parallel configuration, the instrument can be configured with 1 to 256 channels.

MAUS XX can be easily integrated into existing systems (including for retrofitting projects), thanks to its digital I/O ports, encoder inputs, LAN connectivity and software-configurable functions. Based on a Windows PC, the UTWORK management software is developed in-house by IMG Ultrasuoni and can be adapted to various applications: it includes data visualizations typical of both in-line and off-line inspections, file and report management, integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and remote connectivity, ensuring full compliance with Industry 4.0 requirements.
