Dual angled probes for weld inspection on austenitic materials

IMG LFI / SCR 30 series is a complete range of dual crystal probes in LFI and SCR configurations, designed for applications such as weld inspection on austenitic materials.
Both models are available with frequencies ranging from 1 to 4 MHz and with standard combinations of angles and focal lengths; different configurations are available upon request to meet specific inspection requirements.

Examples of use:

  • Inspection of welds in austenitic materials

LFI

  • Crystal dimension: 10 × 18
  • Available angles: 45° / 60° / 70°
  • Standard focal lengths: 60 mm / 40 mm / 20 mm

SCR

  • Crystal dimension: 6 × 18
  • Focal: 15 mm

Both models: from 1 to 4 MHz

  • Available upon request: different angles and focal lengths
  • Probes can be made of piezocomposite crystal
