Modular, configurable magnetic wheel scanner for linear weld inspection using PAUT and TOFD

Anyweld is a magnetic-wheel ultrasonic scanner designed and manufactured by IMG Ultrasuoni for linear weld inspections using phased array (PAUT) and TOFD probes. It is designed for applications that require constant traction, speed control and maximum setup flexibility: it can carry up to 8 probes (up to 10 with special TOFD IMG dual sockets) and can be configured in multiple configurations depending on control requirements.

  • It can also be used for longitudinal welds

  • Up to 10 probes with special dual TOFD IMG bases
  • Modular structure that can be assembled in at least 14 configurations
  • Exclusive universal probe holder with three degrees of freedom and adjustable pressure, a quick-release attachment with no play and a one-handed quick-release offline position
  • Forks with universal arm sets and PIN diameters compatible with all bases.
  • Magnetic wheels with an attractive force designed to ensure adequate traction
  • Use on non-magnetic materials via an optional chain or belt (which can also be used to improve scan alignment)
  • Servomotor with built-in IP67 electronics, designed exclusively for Anyweld
  • Speed control with programmable range: 2 mm/s – 100 mm/s
  • It can be used with a built-in battery or an external battery to ensure constant traction and speed control in any position
  • Wired or wireless remote control (optional)
  • 12V auxiliary output for external water supply pumps with on/off remote control
  • “Zipper organizer” sleeve for effective protection of cables and hoses, available in lengths from 4.5 m or 9 m.
